TREES

Trees are plants with a woody stem, called trunk. The branches grow out from the trunk high above the ground.
Trees can be deciduous or evergreen. Deciduous trees lose their leaves in autumn and grow new ones in spring. Evergreen trees do not lose their leaves and are green all year round.

Bushes are plants with woody stems, but without a trunk. The branches grow near the ground.
